How This Business Used Ai to 5x Their Client Prospecting

Stop using Ai like a checkers piece: play chess instead. Here’s how we helped a family-owned MNC move from "checkers" to "chess" by introducing multilayered Ai-based client prospecting.

Ai-based scraping is now “old hat”, especially thanks to the proliferation of agentic Ai solutions such as Open Ai’s agentic solutions and Manus (as well as imitators such as OpenManus and the like). However, we’ve found that so far, the majority of businesses that use Ai to prospect for new business are using Ai to scrape for contacts and even for outreach, but not to make intelligent decisions about that process. This leaves a sales team to figure out who the best prospects are, wasting valuable time in the process. Worse, it’s not getting the full use out of Ai: it’s like playing chess, but using the queen like a checkers piece. Why only move one space diagonally when you can move infinitely in any direction?

When we were referred to help create new prospect lists for a family-owned multinational textile manufacturer that was re-entering the US market (let’s call it Textiles, Inc.*, or T Inc for short) with a new, exciting product line and strategy, our first question was not “where are you getting your contacts now?”, but “how can we compliment your current strategy and make your sales team better”?

"Don't Play Checkers With Your Chess Pieces"

How T Inc. Used Ai to Make Their Company Better

The answer to the question was this: Textiles, Inc. wanted to “cut through the crap” (their words, not ours), and work region-by-region, finding the “early adapter” clients that would be most in line with their new strategy and ready to buy. They would then leverage these contracts to gain a foothold and create a competitive advantage in their new markets. Simple enough.

In this case, the client’s emphasis was on quality of leads, not speed, so we felt encouraged to help the client seek thorough results.

We developed an intelligent agentic ai-based scraper that could be used to create prospect lists for a particular region. After creating the list, the system then would use multiple agents, each using a particular criteria, to find the clients from this list that were most likely to purchase. The prospects that have responded recently or purchased from T Inc. in the recent past are automatically re-loaded into the agentic system to help the Ai learn about the current clients to help score for new "early adapter" prospect. This was all deployed as a web app with an awesome UI designed by our team that is beautiful (and functional) for anyone to use.

The client’s response? Satisfied all around. By our estimates, the prospecting process is now 5 times more efficient than before, saving hundreds of work hours within the first go-around. The MBC staff took a celebratory virtual toast with the T Inc. staff when the first client was converted within weeks after rollout, and we’re looking forward to even more business for T Inc. in the near future.
